Joel Santos: We'll prove you wrong! Software stack is almost the same, only drivers change. BTW we have only one public svn for both hardware: svn.fonosfera.org. To compile a for one platform or the other is just a matter of selecting another target in OpenWRT build root!

Hi marc.

The plugin is developed mainly under linux and it's then tested on mac & win. You need to use the lastest fonera RC available since this new version was updated to work with transmission bittorrent and support for the previous bittorrent clients was removed.

Please subscribe to our mailing list and send us an email: http://fonosfera.org/mailman/listinfo

Thanks,
Javier

Ronron: the Fonera 2.0 doesn't support newsgroup download yet

marc: this add-on run fine in linux!
For support please join the mailing list. Though I think that your problem is that you are not looking in the right download window. To get the one of the add-on click on 'Fonera Downloads' in the status bar.

Is someone using this plugin under Linux?

For me, just connects to the Fonera, and lets me add direct links as a download, i can see them downloading via the fonera web interface, but the downloads list shows blank. Also I can't add torrents from the plugin.

May be the plugin only works at 100% under windows?

Hi! After the announcement of the new fonera n, and as user of the fonera 2.0, I'm a bit worried. Most of all about the hardware change. The new fonera is way more potent than the 2.0, so:
How is this affecting the 2.0 users? I'm talking about firmware releases. I suppose that you'll start working with 64 MB RAM and 300 MHz CPU in mind. Will be us, the 2.0 users, start to see "fonera 2.0n only" apps? Is this going to slow down the firmware releases?
I understand that 2.0 chokes with torrent, and gets a little way short, but I'm starting to think that was not a good shop. Prove that I'm wrong! :D
I write this with no offence intended, they're just a bunch of things I've in mind.
Thanks,

You must to add support to downloads by https (http with ssl encryption) like you can get in the Furk.net service, for example.

Thanks!
