For those who need a quick fix for the VoIP problem:

- disconnect any VoIP devices you may have, stop any VoIP application running on your PC
- install the 2.3.0 -DEV firmware
- login via ssh
- rm /lib/modules/2.6.21/nf_*_sip.ko
- reboot

That's it! The crash is caused by those two modules. Most VoIP phones will work even without them, so don't worry about deleting these modules.

Agreed, I meant to say looking forward to the stable release version. But I would be happy to see another another release candidate version if it fixed some of the bugs.

You should make something _STABLE_ not beta, we had enough of beta versions.

It's high time for FON to fix the most annoying bugs. So that basic functionality works reliably.

I bought Fonera 2.0N a month ago and I'm really really disappointed about its incompatibility issues with my two modem router (an US Robotics 9111 and a Siemens Santis 50).
I really hope this firmware release will solve them...

# Seth Says:
-I think Foneros would appreciate more frequent straightforward communication like this.-

I agree with Seth! It would be good to have a page that informs us about problems the developers are currently working... with what order they will fixed the other bugs (and even some planned dates).
I know that there is a trac, but lately has not been updated (except for the plugin).
