Mobile fon2.0
My first blog ever :)
I have a small screenshot, i want to share. I am mainly writing this entry, because i needed something to do online, whilst doing the testing of the huawei E220 usb umts dongle attached to my fon2.0 :-)
So what is missing ? The web interface does not not prompt you yet, if you enter an incorrect pin. But the new web interface will have that feature. (oh and some way of showing signal strength ….)

Cool!… Do you need an usb hub to use HUAWEI E220 with La Fonera?.

What chipset are supported? I have an Icon 225 that seems to contain a chipset GlobeTrotter. If you need a beta tester, I have the Fonera 2.0, the USB key and the data plan.

I´ve also the new fonera 2.0, and different types of umts stick, if you need tester, or more infos about my umts hardware, let me know it.

Next beta will ship a beta 3G support, it will be the right time for test.
Follow the blog, beta2 will be released in less than a week!

Any chance that the UMTS/3G capability can be used as fallback if the WAN fails?

We will probably implement the fallback, not sure when that will happen, though.
